• Women in Leadership & Management Awards 

The WiLMA celebrates the trailblazing legacy of Hon. Wilma J. Webb, Denver's first African American First Lady, the U.S. Labor Department's first female Regional Administrator for Region VIII, and the first woman elected to represent District 8 in the Colorado House of Representatives. A distinguished public servant and leader, she is the only African American woman in Colorado to have served at all three levels of government.

The annual WiLMA Award honors two individuals who have made a positive impact through their selfless commitment to the community, either through volunteer efforts or corporate support. It recognizes women who contribute their time, talent, and resources to improve the community in areas such as women's services, social services, youth or senior activities, health care, the arts, justice, education, housing, community growth and development, corporate leadership, or politics.
